The specific lot is a bourbon selection from the spot El Amate. Especially at this higher spot they try to create a micro-climate by having 70% shade. This way the coffee cherries ripe in a natural way and are less impacted by climate change. The cup profile is characterized by a nice winey aroma, it is an intense coffee with up-front a bright acidity (citric + malic), many fresh (red) fruit notes like grapes, red apple,.. and a clean after-taste.
